At Jetmech Aviation, we specialize in personalized, high-quality maintenance solutions for corporate aircraft operators across a wide range of models and mission profiles.

Founder Kelly McDonough brings over three decades of experience in aviation maintenance and management, supporting both Part 91 and Part 135 operations. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former helicopter crew chief, Kelly earned the rank of Sergeant and received an honorable discharge. He also holds an Airframe & Powerplant License with Inspection Authorization and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Maintenance Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Kelly’s extensive background includes hands-on experience with Hawker, Learjet, Citation, Challenger 300/350, Challenger 604/605, Falcon 2000, 900, 7X, and Gulfstream GIV-SP and G650 aircraft. His time at both local service centers and Gulfstream Long Beach (LGB) ensures Jetmech Aviation is uniquely equipped to meet the complex needs of today’s business aviation clients.

Our technicians are authorized vendors for multiple Part 135 certificates, enrolled in a DOT Drug & Alcohol Abatement Program, and approved by Bombardier Aerospace, allowing us to meet or exceed industry-leading Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.

The Jetmech team is factory-trained across major OEMs, including Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault, Textron, and holds certifications in avionics and battery systems. This breadth of training and experience allows us to deliver a customized approach to aircraft maintenance that aligns with each client’s unique operational needs.

Alex Calderon ~ Director Of Maintenance

Alex Calderon provides comprehensive coordination of aircraft needs while managing personnel & operations. His Air Force background & years maintaining a wide variety of aircraft provide depth of knowledge & understanding, with over 25 years of experience. His expertise in assessing problems & generating solutions means resources are utilized efficiently. In his role, he ensures all aircraft maintenance is performed according to regulatory requirements and company standards, coordinates timely repairs, collects data to ensure proper attention to details, & communicates clearly to attain results.

He has earned numerous aircraft certifications. He is factory trained in Bombardier, Cessna, Gulfstream, Boeing & Air Bus products.

Kellie Saelee ~ Office & Accounts Manager

Kellie Saelee brings over nine years of experience in the aviation industry, along with two years in the medical field. Her diverse background has equipped her with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, administrative coordination, and high-level client service excellence. As the Office & Accounts Manager at Jetmech, Kellie oversees daily office operations, streamlines administrative workflows, and manages both client and vendor relationships. She plays a key role in maintaining clear, efficient communication across teams, supporting technicians, clients, and leadership with professionalism and precision.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington and is known for her reliability, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
